Coaching has to provide a return on investment for both the organisation and the coachee. We therefore take great care
to agree with the coachee and his/her manager the outcomes required from the coaching process. The coachee needs to know those
expectations as well as having the freedom to bring his/her own agenda to the coaching meeting. In turn the organisation
has to be sure that an individual's development and the organisation's goals are aligned. We therefore aim to ensure
this alignment.
Some of the benefits of coaching
There is an unbiased sounding board when developing ideas.
The coach helps to appraise difficult situations objectively, provide techniques for dealing with issues and can bring
alternative approaches to situations.
There is an opportunity to focus on specific issues, which could include building confidence, improving performance, increasing
emotional intelligence, building relationships, dealing with stress, workload management.
The process encourages the development of the coachee's full potential.
The positive approach and language can provide stimulation and motivation.
